Theresa Petyo-Wallace has owned and operated Turning Point Farms Inc. for 20 years and has recently expanded from Orange County to the Central Coast. Theresa has been involved in many aspects of the horse industry from a very young age and has shown successfully in both the hunter and jumper rings. She has produced numerous successful horses and riders. Her riders qualify and compete in the local, regional and national medal finals. Most recently in 2016 her students won the CWD flat challenge, were reserve champion in the CPHA Foundation Finals and Champion in the NCEA Medal final. Theresa is also an advocate of the FEI International Children's Jumping Festival and in 2005 her horse and rider combination finished 7th overall.
Turning Point Farms riders are taught the importance of good horsemanship and an undeniable love and respect for the horse. They are exposed to proper horse care and educated by the best veterinarians and farriers the industry has to offer.
Theresa has also had extensive experience in starting young horses and has started young ones for many top professionals in the business.
Theresa loves all aspects of the sport. She has served on the board for both the Orange County Interscholastic Equestrian League and the Orange County Horse Show Association. She has been named Interscholastic Trainer of the year several times. She is an advocate of the USHJA Emerging Athletes Program and her students have competed successfully in this program. Several of her students have received equestrian scholarships at top colleges throughout the country. Her work ethic is undeniable, as is her love for horses, teaching and riding.
